Judas, the Betrayer: Haunting recollection of the events leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus

Lee Weaver as Judas

It is Good Friday morning. Out of the shadows, a restless, frightened man appears and he is startled that you are watching him. Fitfully dressing after a sleepless night, he explains his urgency to speak with Caiphus, the High Priest.

He is Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve. With anguish, he details the Last Supper and the events leading to the Crucifixion. Judas relives that night in Gethsemane including his identification of Jesus with the fateful kiss. Wistfully, Judas recounts the miracles he witnessed with “his own eyes”. He discloses the frustration and reasoning behind his decision to betray. After sharing his experience you may reconsider your feelings or even identify with this tortured and complicated soul. Before Judas runs off, you will be moved.
